This chapter on "Transference חליפין Chaleepin" is probably the most important chapter of Kabbalah spiritual knowledge written and explained in Sefer Gilgulim by Reb Chaim Vital as it explains how each and every persons soul is continually in a state of exchanging energy between everything and everyone in this physical world.

The understanding of the meaning of "Transference חליפין" is fundamental to explain how a person constantly interacts, by understanding that Spiritual and Physical Transference חליפין is an exchange of thought energy. One can learn to control ones thought energy, thereby empowering one to be able to cancel-out any negative energies and attract into ones life ONLY the positive and good.

"Loss by Transference" - Transference חליפין

In Physical and Spiritual laws there is a principle called "transference" - "קנין חליפין","Haleepin", (This term was understood fully and introduced into the modern day Medical profession by Professor Dr Carl Jung in Psychology). In simple terms, when you go into a shop and buy an apple you give the money in one hand and receive an apple. You have made a transfer, exchanging your money energy for the shops physical item "apple". Which when you eat the apple, its energy will make you feel good, alive and happy with yourself and the world. You may then meet someone and because you feel happy, will also make them feel happy and take away some of their sad feeling. The whole of society and mankind is continually acting in a web of transference and interaction of energy.

Have you ever, suddenly, found your mood change from being all loving and peaceful, and out-of-character you become angry? The explanation is simple, by "transference", someone you have just connected with, (it could even be the car infront or behind you in a traffic jam, or someone in the street who has so much inner frustration, anger or depression etc), has swapped, dumped and transferred their negative thoughts and emotional energy in an act of "transference" - exchanged for your loving, energizing and positive energy.

1. קנין חליפין - Transference

The basic understanding of "transference" - the concept of "exchange" of thought energy for physical energy as taught from the Talmud.The sources in the Talmud Mesechta Kiddushin גמרא קידוּשין daf 28a and Mesechta Temurah.

Valid "Transactions"

The Talmud explains the concept of validity of different types of transactions, when exactly a transaction takes place and when a person actually acquires ownership of articles one has bought.

When a person buys anything in a shop, exchanging money for the item, lifting the item up and walking out of the shop constitutes a valid purchase. If a person takes the item without paying then the ownership of the item remains with the shopkeeper and that is theft.

The validity of any transaction is final and irreversible, the "deal is done" when and this is the important point - that is to complete a sale, to make a final and valid transaction is that NEITHER SIDE can REVERSE or CANCEL the validity of the exchange.

אומדנא -"Umdena"-"Assumptions"

In every type of transaction, there are automatic assumptions, that society makes in their "minds" regarding validity of transactions. That is to say, even if one does NOT have a written agreement everytime one goes shopping, there are assumptions everyone makes in their minds and thoughts.

For example, if one buys something that is lacking or faulty, then one can return the item to the shop. Many goods have written guarantees or stores have 14 day or 30 day money-back offers. However, even without such written "offers", one can still return items if it's assumed in everyone's MIND that the item is not as expected, which invokes the collective assumption of society and in everyone's mind to invalidate such a transaction. (This applies especially in our generation, when so many items are packaged and one doesn't always see inside!).

This important concept of אוּמדנא -"Umdena"-"Assumptions", is that it is an unwritten agreement in everyone's MIND and THOUGHTS, can invalidate the transaction. Conversely this concept of assumed agreement in everyone's mind can and does validate a transaction, whereby one CANNOT go back on the exchange. Like buying a house or car, clothes etc., once completion of transaction is made one cannot go back, just because one doesn't like the purchase!

The exchange of "transference"

The talmud explains that the exchange of "transference", is where one side exchanges something physical for a "THOUGHT". The Talmud discusses this "transference" thought and "transference" speech transactions in the section dealing with marriage, love and emotions of marriage, and in the section of holy spiritual priests making offerings and switching sanctified holy objects with their thoughts.

The Talmud teaches that exchanges and transactions of THOUGHTS and EMOTIONS is NOT valid. This is because in this physical world a transaction only has validity between TWO physical OBJECTS that CANNOT be returned or cancelled out.

This is the spiritual reason why it is forbidden for anyone to charge money for knowledge, information and thoughts. The Talmud teaches that teachers may receive a nominal payment as a compensation for their time spent teaching. But it is 100% clear that teachers must NOT charge for spiritual knowledge as this is in the same category as "transference" transactions.

2. The Spiritual laws of "transference"- חליפין

(a) Anyone anywhere in this physical world and in spiritual world of souls, can have transference energy with anyone who is "open" to receive the transference energy from that persons mind and soul. The energy of "transference" thought energy is open and available to everyone everywhere whom is "open" to receive this energy.

(b) Anyone can cancel out the "energy" of transference that is in their mind. A persons mind and soul is given the power to erase and nullify the energy of transference thought energy.

(c) A person is given the power to be "open" and "closed" to control the flow of thought transference energy into their mind and soul.

If a person does not know about or is unaware of the continual interaction of transference energies with their mind, thoughts and soul, then automatically they leave themselves "open", which allows and "lets-in" negative thoughts, freeloaders and trash which will drain by "transference" - stealing their souls good life energy.

This draining will cause a persons soul to block "life energy" as the soul recognizes and senses that it is being drained. This physical and spiritual souls life energy is known as יניקה מלמעלה - Yeneeka Milmaala. Once a person learns self-control in selecting only the good transference energies then this blockage will be taken away, then the life energy and vitality are allowed to flow into ones life. to STOP a "loss by transference".

From the spiritual laws of "transference" above and from the "Spiritual law of thoughts, words & actions" see "thinking positive" from גמרא קידוּשין דף נט Talmud Kiddushin 59b :-

Since transference energy is 100% thoughts and spiritual , one can simply cancel out the loss of ones souls energy by using the power of speech:-

SIMPLY SAY

הרי אני מבטל כח חליפין של רשעים עם נשמתי

"I cancel out any transference made by evil people that has taken energy from my soul, that takes energy from my soul or that will take energy from my soul"

הרי אני מאסר כל רשעים להחליף כח מנשמתי

"I refuse to allow anyone or anything evil drain my soul by transference, or take any energy from my soul by transference, which includes their negative or destructive thoughts or words against me"

"I release the need for interaction with draining people and situations, my soul has been awakened by these bad experiences, i am grateful for the difficulties as signs to wake-up my soul. Now that i am spiritually awakened, please take away these draining situations out of my life, they no longer have any purpose in my life"

"I cancel out any transference of energy out of my soul with anyone who has nothing to do with my life, my destiny or my soul"

"Similarly, i apologize for having taken anyone's souls energy by transference that has nothing to do with my life, my soul or my destiny and which has used to block my destiny, i no longer want this energy and want it returned to the persons soul i have taken it from, it is NOT mine!"

This is so simple, once a person realizes that one is constantly losing energy by transference, (and this thereby is causing a blockage in the flow of life energy in ones soul as explained above), learnt how to be control this loss by being "Closed" to draining and "freeloaders", then one can simply AFFIRM and say the above two phrases and this cancels out any loss by transference.

This even helps for the highest form of transference whereby some freeloader earthbound soul occupies ones body ( the concept of earthbound souls is explained on the "RESCUE WORK" page).

"Canceling out" with "words" ALWAYS works !

If one does not feel anything after "canceling out" with the power of your speech by saying the above even once, there are 3 possible reasons:-

(1) One is not using ones mind to focus ones thoughts and coordinate ones speech with ones thoughts, that means one must think honestly about the strength of the power of speech. After all, if one has lost energy from ones soul caused by others talking about you, it is 100% assured that you have the power of your speech to control your life and soul, through the power of your speech. YOU have been blessed with the gift of speech so use it to CANCEL out the loss by transference.

(2) One does not believe the spiritual law of canceling out by the power of speech. Good news - even if one does "not believe", it still works ! However small the change, each time a person cancels out by using the power of speech, it has an effect, this is the reason why "shouting" and "screaming" works so well, as it uses ones full strength of the power of ones speech.

(3) Then the last reason, it doesn't seem to work, after saying the "canceling out" phrase above, is because one is still holding onto bitterness and resentment to that person who has hurt you. One must LET GO of them and the thoughts of hurt, simply recognizes they were part of your life in the past and NOW they are NO longer part of your life for your future - Have 100% "closure" , and thank GOD they are now out of your life forever !

Directional "Canceling Out"

When deceitful and rotten people have told lies, gossiped and slandered a good person, it is so easy to cancel out the energy of their words. Since they are liars, their prayers are NOT answered by the good angels in the pure Spirit world, therefore the injured honest person can cancel the power of their deceitful words anytime.

"Directional canceling out" means that one uses the exact words and false allegations that people have and are using against you, affirm that these are lies and then negate and cancel-out their power and destructive energy.

For example; If a man/woman was accused falsely of cheating on his/her spouse with another person, then one should say, "people have accused me of cheating on my wife/husband with another woman/man, as GOD is my witness, this is a lie, i have never cheated on my wife/husband, and therefore i wish to cancel out the energy and power of these lies". Indeed, it seems such a person should gladly divorce such a deceitful spouse as he/she does not have any spiritual good behavior, especially if he/she can tell such awful lies in public. Once one has disconnected and had closure after the divorce, there will still be gossipers and slanderers, one can "cancel out" the power and energy of these liars by simply keep affirming that they are liars, and their words have no energy or power.

If a person does NOT cancel out the negative energy of these evil people, then their energy gets stronger creating blockages in the good persons life, which will come to a peak, at the peak where the energy becomes unbearable, the good person either collapses under the pressure OR learns the spiritual laws to cancel out "loss by transference" and actually starts to stand up for themselves by canceling out all the lies told over so many years, as they are good people with good spiritual guardian angels, and they have been a victim of other peoples lies, they will WIN, once all the negative energy is cleared they will start to have all the goodness in their lives restored to them.

The first step is to write down all the sources of damage of lies that have occurred in ones life, and cancel each of them out by affirming they are liars and as GOD is your witness, you are truthful.

Normally those people who accuse others do not believe in GOD or spirit world, and usually accuse other people of things they have done wrong themselves. So simply affirm their false allegations, admit these are lies and then cancel their power. Likewise repeating a few times actually helps to cancel out the energy of all the other gossipers who have repeated the liars lie. None of them have any power to hurt you anymore.

Use the power of speech to cancel the energy of their words, as Hashem - GOD is your witness.

1. Affirm the words of the lie, use the exact words that the liars have deceitfully used; 2 Confirm that as GOD is your witness that this is a lie; 3. Cancel out the energy of the lie, by confirming that these words are lies and this is the truth.

"Cancel Out" but DO NOT hold onto any bitterness or hatred for the deceitful liars

It is important that one does this, without feeling any hatred or negative emotions for them whom have lied, in fact if one does this in a manner that one feels sorry for the eternal pain their souls will endure in spirit world, then within the "canceling out" process one is actually praying that their soul should repent and apologize for the destruction they have caused.

This is exactly how Joseph forgave his 10 brothers who sold him as a slave, and how King David cancelled out the deceit and lies of King Saul, who tried to kill him. (Once David had cancelled out King Saul's energy of his lies, destruction and deceit, Saul actually committed suicide, and David became 2nd King of Israel).

The highest form of "transference" -

someone else's soul occupies your body

The commentators ערוּך השוּלחן and שך and טז The Shach and Taz on the שוּלחן ערוּך Shulchan Aruch - "The code of Jewish laws", all ask the obvious question:-

In the daily blessings in the morning prayers why do we need to repeat these three blessings everyday of our life, surely saying them once in ones life is enough?

שלא עשני גוי , שלא עשני אשה , שלא עשני עבד

These 3 blessings give thanks to GOD that we are "not a slave" , "not a woman" , "not a גוי ". Surely thanking GOD once in our lives is enough? and surely its obvious that a man is not a woman? and a jewish person is not a non-jew? Why is it necessary to state the obvious affirmation every single day in the morning when one wakes up ?

The Famous Spiritual Rabbis and commentators ערוּך השוּלחן and שך and טז The Shach and Taz on the שוּלחן ערוּך Shulchan Aruch, answer that whilst a person is sleeping, and soul elevates itself to spiritual plane, an "earthbound soul" could occupy ones body, and when one arrives back in ones body, there is a struggle for control over your body, as ones soul did not enter ones body completely properly because there is an occupying soul in a persons body in an act of transference. This act of transference can happen in spiritually sensitive people who don't like or don't feel comfortable being on earth

The solution - make a truthful affirmation

The solution is to make a truthful affirmations of who you are and whom your body belongs to and through the power of speech you can "throw out" the freeloading spirit entity.

Truthful Affirmations

Simply by using the power of truthful speech, will ensure that you do not loose any energy from your soul by "transference". Which in turn will ensure that your life energy and vitality remains "alive" with a continual flow of יניקה מלמעלה - Yeneeka Milmaala. The key is to use the power of speech with truthful statements and affirmations.

One should begin "truthful affirmations" by saying what a person is not, for example a jewish single woman living in USA should affirm, "i am not a man", "i am not a Muslim", " i am not married", "i have not yet found my soulmate", " i am not living in israel", i have no children", etc and then continue to affirm "i am trying to change everyday", "i am canceling out, by my speech any words or thoughts that anyone anywhere has against me, i want to cancel out any negative energy that is blocking success in my life, so that i can find my true destined loving soulmate, to have a purposeful and fulfilling life" etc.,

Once a person starts making truthful affirmations as they "talk to themselves", one will find each individual will flow with their own specific affirmations, of their own personal identity and then affirm to cancel out any blockages in their lives caused by other peoples negative thoughts and words. Once a person has done this, one feels lightened and enlivened as each word a person speaks ACTUALLY works to cancel out any negativity !

Thankfully there is a special spiritual law that prevents this being used against good people, as those people who abuse the power of speech, deceive and lie, have no chance to dissolve the energy of transference, as this ability is only given to those with truthful guardian angels, as discussed in the paragraph of "two types" of people on the page of Spirit & Guidance.

4. Negating and canceling any "transference" energy that has already occurred in the past. Stopping the draining cycle of losing energy by transference.

Simply follow the same spiritual law as above, and use the power of speech to cancel out ALL the loses of "transference" that one has been so open and given away ones energy in the past, which once a person cancels out the power given away by transference thought energy, then all the blockages in ones life will be taken away. SIMPLY SAY :-

הרי אני מבטל כח חליפין של רשעים עם נשמתי

"I cancel out any transference of energy made by evil people that has taken energy from my soul, that takes energy from my soul or that will take energy from my soul"

"I refuse to allow anyone or anything evil drain my soul by transference, or take any energy from my soul by transference, which includes their negative or destructive thoughts or words against me"

"All blockages in my life should now go away from my soul"

"Let the past go"- Hold no grudges

Remember it is important NEVER to hold any grudge or blame to anyone for your mistakes. It is YOUR fault you interacted with the wrong and draining type of person. Its not their fault, they are simply acting the only way they know. However, now that you have found the solution and learnt the reason why you have been so drained by losing your souls good energy in an act of "transference". It is up to YOU to have Closure from the past and learn to Protect your mind and soul, especially if you are a Sensitive soul .

5. עיכובי חליפין - Understanding "blocks" caused from other people created by the energy of "transference".

As we explained on the page Blocking Success, once transference has occurred, a person has given away part of their souls energy to someone else. This other person now has the power to Block Success as they have your energy as we saw in the "Transference" destructive cycle as explained on the "Debrainwashing page" :-

The solution is simple !

Use the power of speech to cancel out all the acts of transference, think back to all the times you were open and gave away your souls energy in an act of transference.

Remember the rule that there are two type of people in this world, the "honest and creative group" and the "deceitful destructive group" as explained in the page of Spirit & Guidance. Every person interacts and is connected in this world, if the person you are connecting with makes you feel alive and creatively constructive then this is a good connection. If the connection is draining and destructive one MUST have Closure. They maybe even be good people but they have NO PLACE in your life, if one feels drained when interacting with them.

Ones soul energy comes back from "the ether"

Once one has learnt Closure and prayed to have ones life energy that has been lost by transference returned to your soul. One will start to feel alive with spiritual vitality and enlightenment . However, part of the Closure process is one MUST "let-go" and forgive those people who have been draining you, and NEVER expect them to return energy to you and NEVER expect them to apologize to you. Have closure from them and move on.

The "ether", that is the DIVINE universal energy will give you the spiritual energy , replenish, enliven you and more that compensate your losses. Once and only once you have deep-down had closure and opened the flow of unblocked life energy יניקה מלמעלה - Yeneeka Milmaala . Your soul will only unblock this once truthfully and intrinsically EVERYTHING has been done by you to correct your past mistakes and your spirit mind and soul in 100% sure you will not make the mistakes again.

The English saying expression pertaining to life's opportunities "one door opens ONLY when the other door is firmly closed", and "what goes around - eventually comes around", refers to the cycle of universal DIVINE energy.

6. Protecting oneself from losing "transference" energy in the future.

Once a person has been enlightened to the concepts of "loss of ones souls energy by transference", with this "key" of knowledge from Sefer Gilgulim by Reb Chaim Vital, one will automatically learn to be aware of every interaction that one makes, sensing the energizing actions and draining actions. Making empowered and correct freewill decisions to only interact with constructive creative people and situations, never allowing oneself to be "open" to be drained by freeloaders in an act of transference.

It's very similar to learning to talk, once one has learnt how to talk it is very difficult to forget ! After a while it becomes "second-nature" to a child and one speaks even without thinking. 7. The concept of "עין הרע" - "evil eye"

The concept of "עין הרע" - "evil eye" is simply understood as a person has been "open" spiritually to allow another person steal energy by "transference" which is in fact your souls energy and this is thereby able to BLOCK your life.

Simply learn to stop "losing your souls energy by transference", by being so "open" to destructive energies. learn Closure and Protection and then no one can affect your life with the energy you have "given them" to hurt you with !

Those people whom have changed completely, healed the past and become loving and compassionate souls connected in the committed service of GOD, have learnt to focus and continually cleanse their mind and soul from any negative and destructive thoughts.

Once a person has arrived at this level "עין הרע" - "evil eye" created by other peoples negative thoughts can never affect their soul . In the transition period as a person is learning and transforming one simply needs to learn Closure and continually cleansing and canceling out other peoples acts of transference draining thought energies.

A note for Modern Day - Photographs

When anyone looks at photographs, each image makes an impression on a persons mind and thoughts, if a person is emotionally aroused by the image in the photograph this has a stronger affect on a persons soul. If the photograph gives a person a vitality and aliveness then an act of creative transference takes place. If however the photograph leaves a person feeling drained then a destructive act of transference has occurred.

If the photograph is of a person, then the persons image and soul is engraved on that photo and if one is "open" and unaware, then evil people can use the photograph in an act of transference energy and "drain" or "hurt" a person.

As this "damage" occurs as a thought energy, simply by using the power of speech cancels out any "transference" loss energies and solves the problem. Simply say, "I refuse to allow anyone or anything evil drain my soul by transference which includes negative or destructive thoughts or words against me or any photos that have been taken of me by anyone anywhere".

Conclusion

Once a person has been enlightened to the concepts of "loss of ones souls energy by transference", with this "key" of knowledge from Sefer Gilgulim by Reb Chaim Vital one will automatically learn to be aware of every interaction that one makes, sensing the energizing actions and draining actions and making wise decisions to connect only with creative life energy.
