Without doubt the most famous and profound books he wrote was Sefer Gilgulim the Book of Reincarnations ספר גילגוּלים. and Shaar Gilgulim שער גילגולים

Reb Chaim Vital explains, in the times close to the times of Moshiach, the time of Spiritual Enlightenment at the end of time Moshiach, all the souls on earth will indeed be reincarnated souls, with the ultimate task of completing to make perfect and whole all of mankind through peace Shalom - שלוֹם , forgiveness, and love of our neighbours , אהבת הבריוֹת.
